TELEPSYCHIATRY
Headway Telepsychiatry is a premier psychiatric practice proudly serving the state of Ohio.

Deciding on mental health care is not easy, access to it should not be difficult,
We believe in easy access to care that makes a difference.
Is Telepsychiatry right for me?

Telepsychiatry is a form of telemedicine that delivers psychiatric/mental health services online through electronic charting, video conferencing, electronic prescribing and billing at the convenience of your home.

convenience: since appointments are made remotely, patients often do not have to take time off work, travel to their appointment destination, and experience long waits at a doctor's office.

comfort: patients often prefer communicating with a mental health provider in the comfort of their own home, especially during a pandemic.

cost: telepsychiatry is a lean and efficient healthcare delivery system, and the administrative savings are passed onto the patient.

DANIEL FUNK
PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HELTH
NURSE PRACTITIONER
My name is Daniel Funk. I am a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. I am a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (MSN, 2018). I work in collaboration with Guardian Medical Direction physicians. I have passionately worked in mental health since 2013, starting as a PCA, followed by a psychiatric nurse, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2018. I have worked in multiple settings, including inpatient, PHP/IOP, outpatient, and telemedicine. I have experience in various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, and thought, behavioral, and addiction-related conditions across the lifespan. I have a patient-centered therapeutic approach to healthcare. I am compassionate, open-minded, non-judgmental, and treat everyone equally with kindness and respect. I keep communication channels open and have quick response times.
